Catch’n Serve Ball in Poland – History and Development

The first steps of Catch’n Serve Ball in Poland were taken on 12–13 May 2025. Representatives of the Osa Łomianki Sports Club participated in a two-day training course held at the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, organized by the International Catch’n Serve Ball Federation (ICSBF).

Italy: The Catch’n Serve Ball school project comes to a close with great enthusiasm

The Catch’n Serve Ball school project at I.C. Plinio Il Vecchio in Cisterna di Latina has successfully concluded with strong participation and enthusiasm.

The project was organized by Pianeta Volley Aprilia, with the direct involvement of its Catch’n Serve Ball team Mamasharks, in collaboration with AICS Roma and the Italian Catch’n Serve Ball Federation.

More than 200 students took part in the project overall, and around 120 students, divided into 7 classes, participated in the final event.

Lusijas Catch'n Serve Ball Fest'26 - International Tournament

On April 11–12, 2026, in Jēkabpils, Latvia, the team "Jēkabpils Lūsijas" will host the two-day international tournament "Lūsijas' Catch’n Serve Ball FEST ’26"!

This Catch’n Serve Ball festival will bring together teams from Latvia and abroad, promising two days filled with energy, teamwork, excitement, and plenty of positive emotions.

Italian Catch’n Serve Ball Championships 2025: Growth, Inclusion, and Excellence on the National Stage

Salsomaggiore Terme, Italy — November 2025.
The second edition of the Italian Catch’n Serve Ball Championships, organized by AICS and FICSB under the patronage of the International Catch’n Serve Ball Federation (ICSBF), concluded with remarkable participation numbers and an atmosphere of passion, respect, and community.

Held from 20 to 23 November, the event brought together over 350 athletes and more than 800 total participants, confirming the rapid national growth of a sport that places accessibility and social values at its core.

ICSBF President Elisabeth Speiser-Havel received the International Panathlon Award 2025!

The only award presented during the 47th CSIT Congress in San Marino. The prize was selected and presented by official representatives of Panathlon International. What an honour! This award is intended to recognise her life's work.

Austria's biggest sporting event with hundreds of thousands of visitors!

Austria's biggest open-air sporting event, Tag des Sports, attracted huge crowds. Hundreds of thousands of visitors came to Vienna's Heldenplatz in magnificent weather – and, of course, Catch'n Serve Ball was right in the middle of it all.

Our court was played on with lots of energy and enthusiasm throughout the whole day. Players from five Austrian teams demonstrated Catch'n Serve at a high level. As a participatory station, young and old alike could play Catch'n Serve, learn from the professionals and find out about courses in and about Vienna directly from the clubs on site.

Project for peace with Catch'n Serve in Africa enters second stage

The ANGAZA project, run by Caritas Carinthia, has already contributed to peace in Marsabit (northern Kenya) in tribal conflicts and raised awareness of important issues such as female genital mutilation (FGM). The tool used is sport. The target group so far has been schoolchildren. ANGAZA 2 now also involves the county government of Marsabit, the Kenyan Football and Volleyball Association as well as organizations that work with people with disabilities.

37 Catch'n Serve teams from 18 countries from Africa to Ukraine, great feedback from prominent visitors such as CSIT-President Bruno Molea, fun and parties, a self-defense course from the International Ju-Jitsu Federation, and training for CSIT seniors.
