EU Mamanet 2023

The EU Mamanet 2023 project is a commendable initiative aimed at empowering women and promoting gender equality in sports. It successfully engages women interested in joining the Mamanet movement at the ongoing European Mamanet Festival 2023, a non-profit EU-wide sports event held in Cervia, Italy, from the 5th to the 10th of September 2023.

The Mamanet movement introduces an innovative model to reshape the status of women in sports by involving more women in grassroots sports activities. The EU Mamanet project effectively expands and embraces this movement in countries where it already exists, while also establishing it in countries where it is still emerging.
