Austria's biggest sporting event with hundreds of thousands of visitors!
At 1pm there was a meet and greet with numerous board members, some of whom then demonstrated their skills on the court, as well. For example, President Jennifer Kickert, Vice-President Barbara Fastner, Treasurer Wolfgang Burghardt, School Sports Consultant Tristan Bacher, Auditor Rudi Sporrer, Advisory Board Members Didi Sifkovits and Phil Speiser, and Honorary President Sonja Spendelhofer.
Markus Ertel from the Vienna Education Authority https://www.bildung-wien.gv.at/, who is responsible for school sports, also took part. Special guest was international jazz star Lori Williams, who is very passionate about the issue of gender equality. Whatch her out: https://lorijazz.net/
Elisabeth Speiser-Havel was also delighted to welcome several cooperation partners, such as Tamara Höfer from Richtungswechsel and board member Maria Rösslhumer from the StoP association, in regard to CSB Platz. Agnes Sirkka-Prammer, Member of the National Council, was also a welcome guest who stopped by trough again to actively participate with the board and take part in the self-defence course.
Things then got active with the free self-defence course. Professionals from the international Ju-Jitsu Association also came along and showed some good and useful tips and tricks! Catch'n Serve Ball and Ju-Jitsu have some common goals! Our view is that sport is a means of protection, inclusion and peace!
Large events like this show how well and quickly Catch'n Serve is being accepted!
