Target Groups: young sports women, senior women, transgender community/LGBTQ+
The aim is to develop and pilot a model of an intergenerational and inclusive European not-for-profit sport event (Catch’n Serve Ball) that expands grassroots sport participation across Europe by centering women’s leadership and fostering intergenerational engagement among children, families, adults and seniors as key processes to advance social inclusion, gender equality — including the needs of female and LGBTIQ+ athletes — healthy active lifestyles, and community cohesion.
Objectives of the Project

Strengthen women-led and inclusive sport leadership capacities Equip young and senior women, including LGBTQ+ and FLINTA participants, with practical competences in project, financial, sport event, social and communication management to design and deliver inclusive European not-for-profit sport events.

Increase access and participation of underrepresented groups in grassroots sport Expand opportunities for women, seniors, LGBTQ+ participants, families and communities by promoting safe, accessible and mixed-gender sport environments that foster lifelong participation and empower female leadership in women

Generate sustainable impact through European guidelines and advocacy Develop the CrossIn WINS Guidelines and implement a transnational advocacy campaign to promote inclusive, women-led and intergenerational sport models, ensuring transferability and long-term uptake across Europe.

Strengthen European cooperation and policy relevance in inclusive sport Consolidate a transnational network of grassroots organisations contributing to EU priorities on inclusion, gender equality and healthy lifestyles through shared practices and policy-oriented recommendations.
